BBG / Peerless UK hands the keys of Car Audio Division to Celsus UK Ltd WATFORD - MONDAY 29 JUNE 2009: BBG Distribution Ltd, the Watford based Distributor of premium American and European AV accessory brands has announced its departure from the Car Audio Market, having reached an agreement with Celsus UK Ltd who will continue to distribute the JL Audio, MTX and Dynamat brands in the UK.
After the recent merger of BBG with the Peerless Industries Group in April 2009, it was agreed between BBG's major In-Car Audio suppliers and staff that it was unlikely that BBG would be able give the focus required to the In-Car business. BBG are pleased to confirm that an agreement has been reached with Celsus UK Ltd. Celsus specialise in high quality and high performance products aimed at past, present and future generations of In-Car technology. Chris Bennett has joined Celsus on their main board as Sales and Marketing Director, along with Jon Griggs and Andy Clift who have also joined Celsus in key sales positions. As from 1st July 2009, Celsus will take over the Sales, Marketing and ongoing warranty for all BBG brands, past and previous (excluding Focal who will by mutual agreement be appointing a different Distributor). BBG / Peerless Managing Director Gordon Dutch said "It is with an equal mix of excitement and regret that BBG departs from the Car Audio business after 15 years. This has been the culmination of a lot of hard work in the background and I for one am very confident that this new alliance will continue to build upon the fantastic work and reputation that BBG has achieved in the In-Car Industry.
