History

BBG was founded in 1993 with the ethos bringing the Best Brands in the Industry, at the best pricing, with the very best back up and this today is still the ethos of BBG.

Gordon Dutch, the Founder/CEO had a proven track record in retail in Consumer Electronics from mainstream electronics to high end solutions and understood the needs of both the end consumer and the retailer.

In 1996 BBG expanded into Home Audio products exclusively launching for the UK a number of mid to high-end Home Audio and Home Cinema brands, which firmly established BBG as a leader in the category.

BBG established some very strong relationships with a number of leading UK Department Stores and Electrical retailers, which still exist to this day.

Shortly after the Millennium, BBG moved into the accessories business, where it launched the first line of Universal Plasma and LCD product line specifically targeted at TV retailers and since then have expanded their product offerring to cover AV Furniture, cables, cleaning and of course Home Audio and Home Cinema speakers from Onkyo and Wharfedale.

2009 has seen the merger of BBG with Peerless Industries, Inc.  BBG continues to trade as BBG Distribution Limited and distribute the existing line up of BBG consumer brands, becoming a subsidiary of Peerless Industries, Inc.

BBG has departed the Car Audio market to focus all efforts on serving the needs of Consumer and Professional AV accessories markets.

Gordon Dutch remains as Managing Director of BBG and has joined the advisory board of Peerless in the US.
