Peerless-AV’s SEAMLESS Bespoke Mounting Solutions set the stage for digital storytelling in the Berlin flagship store of a sporting goods manufacturer. For this install, the video wall load needed to be taken by the floor as well as the wall. InfraStor recommended a SEAMLESS Bespoke dvLED Mounting System from Peerless-AV to support digiILED LED modules in a 5x9 (600 x 337.5mm) configuration. Bolted to the floor (sitting 50mm high) and bolted back to the wall, the mounting system was custom manufactured to have a meticulous fit with built in x, y and z axis adjustment to ensure the video wall surface remains flat.

The First Americans Museum

Initial discussions started in 2018 surrounding the construction of a giant, suspended, and curved direct view LED (dvLED) video wall designed to wrap around the center of the museum. Peerless-AV was contracted to design a custom fabricated mounting system that could accommodate the curvature of the wall and support the 600-pound combined weight of the displays. Physical installation started the first week of May 2021, the Peerless-AV SEAMLESS Bespoke dvLED mounting system, custom designed specifically for this project, offers compatibility and exclusive support for the 192 Absen Acclaim 2.5mm dvLED panels.

APENHEUL MONKEY ZOO

Apenheul monkey zoo enters the digital age. The zoo planned to renovate and rebuild a section of the park, the old main office building was to be knocked down to make space for two new animal houses, a playground, the biggest insect wall in the world and a new catering area. AV integrator Nieuwenhuis AV was then tasked with helping bring this new area of the zoo up to date with the latest indoor and outdoor digital solutions. Imperial College London, one of the world’s leading universities, has completed a new installation for its Business School. Hotel Panther'A, located in one of Austria’s most famous ski regions Saalbach Hinterglemm, approached system integrator Kapsch BusinessCom AG in December 2020 for a display solution to be situated on the wall at the hotel entrances by the outdoor café/bar. The hotel wanted a large, bright display that would be seen clearly at any time of day, not only by hotel guests but by tourists passing by on the street as well. Kapsch specified the 86” UltraView TV from Peerless-AV and sourced locally from AV distributor Omega.

National Theatre of Iceland

The theatre’s team were tasked with researching an outdoor digital signage solution to replace the old traditional static signage at the front of the building. The objective was to be able to show schedules and trailers of productions in dynamic, HD video quality. Leading Nordic IT service company Origo, were contracted by the theatre and provided a full, start-to-finish project management service. Samsung KX is located in London’s new Coal Drop’s Yard shopping district representing a landmark destination for culture, innovation, community. The 20,000 sq ft venue is open seven days a week, inviting guests to walk around, feel relaxed and unrestricted in space full of air and light. For the centrepiece of the venue, Samsung KX wanted a creative and digital playground to attract and inspire, but also to showcase the latest technology innovation. AV technology pioneer Peerless-AV® has successfully completed a project with systems integrator APIXIT involving the integration of a 2.7m x 4.8m LED video wall at the ECLA Campus in Saclay, a commune in the southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. In early July, 2013, Daytona International Speedway (DIS) embarked on a $400 million redevelopment project referred to as DAYTONA® Rising. The goal was to transform the speedway and give racing fans the ultimate experience, everywhere in the stadium. In addressing this goal, DIS focused on the importance of technology in enabling the ideal fan experience and sought out partners to add to its DAYTONA Technology Platform. While DIS was looking for a wide range of technology solutions to support the project, a key emphasis was placed on the need for outdoor, weatherproof displays. Digital displays would make the impossible possible – fans would never have to miss a minute of the action, no matter where they were in the speedway.

To mark its 10th anniversary, Germany's SAP Arena has upgraded the VIP area of its multi-purpose venue with innovative display technology from NEC. UL safety tested, full-service mounting solutions from Peerless-AV were used to achieve optimal screen placement and a considerable reduction in installation time. A high impact 8x3 video wall was installed using DS-VW765-LQR Full-service Video Wall Mount series, the mounts support flat panel displays up to 65" and are ideal for recessed applications.

illy combines its passion for quality coffee with arts and creativity. Its worldwide chain of authentic Italian-style cafés attract a loyal clientele with their innovative spirit and imaginative flair, offering customers the chance to refuel, reflect and relax in stylish surroundings. Included in the displays in-store was a 4x3 video wall, two digital menu screens and a display array on the wall behind a seating area. For the mounting solution, DSSC Europe chose 12 x DS-VW765-LAND Full-service Landscape Video Wall brackets from its preferred mounts supplier Peerless-AV. The mounts offer the required alignment and depth for the existing wall niche so that the displays appear clean and flush, with no unsightly gaps, and are secured into place against the wall with a spring-loaded mechanism on each mount. They also offer a pull-out/prop-open action for quick, intuitive and hassle-free service access in recessed applications such as this.

Australian-theme bar chain Walkabout has always been known for its Down Under charm; appealing to students, party goers and sports fans alike. In spring 2014, owners of the Walkabout brand iNTERTAIN Ltd. commenced roll out of a new cosmopolitan design refresh across 11 of its 24 venues in the UK. A 5x2 'wow factor' video wall was installed at the rear of the bar captivating customers attention. For the mounting solution Sound Power chose the DS-VW765-LAND Full-Service Video Wall Mounts from its preferred mounts supplier Peerless-AV.

The Dune Group brand is setting an example in the retail world for its dynamic use of digital signage in newly refurbished stores across the UK, US and Switzerland. In the summer of 2015, Volta Industries, a designer of vehicle charging stations aimed at bettering the world one community at a time, was looking to make a change. The company was embarking on a transition from static to digital signage as well as an expansion of its charging station locations to retail centers across the Midwest. Volta wanted to combine digital signage displays with its electric vehicle charging stations to create the ultimate revenue generating, advertising solution. Further, Volta wanted to stick to its mission of offering free electric car charging to customers and free installation and maintenance to retail centers with its ad-supported stations.

Leicester City Football Club (LCFC), aka the Foxes, is an English professional football team based at the King Power Stadium in Leicester. Following its promotion to the Premier League, the club has invested heavily in upgrading all the rooms within the stadium. This includes remodeling one of its largest conference suites, which now features an impressive 14sqm full HD LG video wall, using Peerless-AV® full-service mounts installed by Pioneer Digital Solutions. This well-positioned, high impact video wall system not only enables effective delivery of live match day content, but it also provides an ideal AV solution for stylish, non-match day presentations during conferences, meetings, banqueting, Christmas, weddings and celebrations.

First opened in 2006, Mercedes-Benz World was one of the first brand experience centres aimed at engaging with audiences in new and exciting ways, and is packed with the latest technology to impress and inspire.

World's Most Famous Theme Park

In the fall of 2013, the world’s most well-known theme park was looking to enhance its ticketing process. The park aimed to implement a visual solution that incorporated eye-catching, engaging movement to entertain its guests while in line. The park also wished to encourage ticket upsells by highlighting attraction packages in a fun way, whilst offering the ability to efficiently change graphics. Due to the park’s outdoor environment, location of the displays, safety concerns, and noise pollution concerns, the park had very specific requirements for its signage that had to be addressed in the solution. To make this dream a reality, the park called on Peerless-AV® based on the company’s unique, consultative approach to creating digital signage solutions.

UC Riverside

In early 2014, the University of California, Riverside (UCR) was putting the finishing touches on its new student center, the UCR Student Recreation Center, a building planned as the hub of recreational, intramural, and club sports on the campus. From health classes to casual sports games to personal training and even a rock climbing wall, the 80,000 square foot facility was jam-packed with everything the campus could possibly need to fulfill students’ wants and needs – except for one thing. The university needed to find a way to showcase school events, share news, stream sports games, and more in a visually appealing, high-tech format, in line with the aesthetic of the brand-new state-of-the-art center.

In the summer of 2014, Entré Computer Solutions, a provider of IT services, decided to make a move towards entering the business of outdoor digital signage. The company’s current building is non-descript, and both drive-by traffic and customers alike had trouble recognizing the nature of its business. By integrating an outdoor digital signage solution, Entré would be able to promote its business, along with the products it sells. The staff at Entré wanted to find a way to showcase the solution and be seen as a leader in the audio-visual business.

Since 2006, the Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, the busiest airport in Quebec, Canada, has been in the process of updating and modernizing its facilities and terminals. With the expansion of the international terminal and the addition of new restaurants, shops, and a dutyfree area, the airport was looking to further enhance the space with visual elements that were both eye catching and informational.

In early-summer 2014, a New York City-based real estate company decided it was time to utilize the perfect marketing tool to engage their customers – the surrounding area. The company presumed the ideal way to do so would be to bring the outdoor scenic view, inside. In order to bring the outdoors in, the real estate company wanted to create a transparent lobby in one of their buildings in Jersey City, New Jersey. Keeping their customers in mind, they wanted to focus on the idea that Jersey City is somewhat of a staple to most people looking to relocate to the area. It’s close enough to Manhattan to be able to enjoy the city life, while still keeping a slight distance from the hustle and bustle.

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Powell, Ohio

In mid-2014, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium embarked on a project with Peerless-AV® to revamp the facility’s signage. A well-known, non-profit organization welcoming approximately 2.2 million guests annually, the zoo was relying on static wayfinding signage and a handful of flatscreen TVs showcasing videos via the zoo’s internal digital content network. In hopes of enhancing visitor experience, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium sought out a rugged, reliable, and weatherproof solution to keep guests informed on zoo and aquarium updates, events, and severe weather warnings.

Miller Outdoor Theatre

Houston, Texas

Near the close of the 2013 Season, Miller Outdoor Theatre, a free-tothe-public outdoor theatre located in Houston, Texas, decided it was time to update its communication processes and provide its patrons with an enhanced entertainment experience. Located in Houston’s Hermann Park, a city known for unannounced tropical weather, Miller’s patrons would often rely on last minute decisions regarding staying at a show during inclement weather or leaving before the show ended. Oftentimes, Miller alerted visitors of show delays or inclement weather via social media and phone calls made to the Theatre’s general phone line. To spread news about upcoming events, shows, and park rules, Miller relied on live communication with the audience during shows.

Clean Image Car Wash

Plainfield, IL

In late Spring 2014, Clean Image Car Wash made the decision to update their facility's signage. Their static services board, located at the entrance of the car wash, required regular upkeep due to weathering and consistent service changes. Clean Image decided it was time to look for a digital signage solution in lieu of their current paper signs and static services board that would look sleek and modern, while offering a cost effective option. Another major requirement of this new solution was the ability to withstand the elements, including any water and cleaning products associated with the car wash, in addition to any natural elements such as dirt, dust, wind, rain, or snow, that various weather conditions could present. Peerless-AV's Outdoor Digital Menu Board Kiosk was the solution.

To assist a new multi-million pound control centre has been opened in Glasgow which features a 12 x 2 video wall comprising of 24 x 55" screens, linked to over 500 cameras across the city capable of monitoring everything from traffic to littering, bringing together previously separate traffic CCTV and security systems.

In late 2012, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) rolled out a new digital signage project designed to inform riders on its Metrorail system about track work, weekend closures and other travel issues before they pass through the fare gate at any of the system’s 88 stations. The project required displays that could withstand rain, snow, dust, dirt, pressure washing and other ravages unavoidable in the transit environment. Las Vegas Convention Center
